  : We received a warm welcome and the team were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the location is perfect. Our room was large, clean and comfortable overlooking the beautiful church.
  : The room is dated and does need a refresh but this didn't impact our stay.

  : Very attractive pub, very good food, welcoming, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Lovely location. Windows that open!
  : Nowhere to hang clothes - one coathanger on the curtain rail. Just a hook in the bathroom. The ground floor room on this visit was quite dreary, unlike the smaller, but bright and attractively decorated first floor room on my previous visit. It was rather dark, especially with a car parked outside the window - though this is unavoidable and understandable. A very small TV - about 19 inches - the smaller room had a very large one! Though the room was comfortable and had a large bathroom its large expanses of wall painted in a dull shade of cream were 'cold'. A couple more pictures would have helped. It did feel a bit like a 'leftover', at the end of a long corridor, enhanced by no phone signal and the wifi not reaching that end of the building due to a router problem. None of this a disaster, but somehow not in keeping with the general style and standard of the pub.
