  : The only good thing of this hotel is near in republic square of Yerevan, the rest is not good. Reception staff not accommodating and arrogant, rooms not so clean and damage facilities, glass shower door is old and broken, shampoo in sachet only, no shower gels, no soap, they are using plastic glassware in toilet and is tarnished like long time it wasnt cleaned, towels are tattered, amenities; no complimentary water, tea, coffee and sugar in the room, no electric kettle!!! Before I checked in into Shirak hotel I was staying in another 3 star hotel nearby, and everything I mentioned above was available in that hotel like a 5 star. Totally opposite. Worst experience in this hotel. Breakfast is not good.

  : Our room had a view of Mount Ararat, which was great (cloudy conditions during a stay would likely prevent this, however). The location is good; a 5 minute walk to Republic Square.
  : Wi-Fi more often than not didnt work in our room; had to go to the floor lobby or main reception area to access internet. TV had a portable aerial and didnt pick up any channels, so could not watch TV in the room.With the exception of one of the housekeeping staff (a lady with black hair and glasses), the hotel staff were at best, quiet, and at worst, had no customer service skills. Particularly a lady with blonde hair working on the reception desk, who would reply ok to requests and never fulfil them. Upon checking out, her only communication to me was to ensure I paid for the water bottles drank from our room fridge in a very blunt manner; no thank you or goodbye after, nothing. Most travellers would not like the dated decor in the rooms.

  : Location. It is a short walk to the centre, nice supermarket virtually next door. Area was nice and clean. The hotel was great in appearance. It's approximately 10 minutes from the airport by taxi. Breakfast was lovely
  : A kettle would have been nice. The safe was broke.

  : Room tired, carpet quite dirty. Shower tired - hose leaking, round sliding door cubicle, not user friendly. Only one channel on TV.
