  : I was staying there only for one night. We arrived around 21:00 and left at 6:00 at morning for a mountain trip. Perfect location if you are visiting this area for hiking purposes. Hotel is situated in the middle of the forest with no other buildings around, and you can hear the river nearby. Building is old so don't expect modern facilities, but it has a spirit. If you use your imagination you can feel like you just traveled in time 40-50 years back which is cool. Common areas in the hotel are spacious and have nice decoration with a lot mountain accents and wood domination. You can also find a pool table, and just next to it there is big room which is probably used for some events or even parties. You can find ping pong table there and place to seat and talk with your friends, which is a good alternative for more popular dining room. Room standard is very simple -bed and bathroom. This is my first review with so much text in it, so definitely this place made good impression on me. I think one of the reasons were low expectations based on relatively low scoring on Booking. Comparing to my short experience with this place I would say scoring is a bit underrated.
  : As long as you travel in pairs, price for the room is acceptable. Otherwise it is getting very expensive comparing with alternatives in Zuberec which are in 10-15 minutes car travel distance form Rohace-Spalena parking, being starting point for majority of hiking trips in this area. Another think is that windows in my room were not very hermetic, hence you could feel bit of cold from outside.

  : The girl who was in the reception and then helping in the restaurant was really friendly and was trying her best. But she has very limited resources and she can't do magic. For example they have a coffee machine with a water tank that last for 4-5 coffees max.. So during the brekafast she has to walk there with a jug of water every 5 minutes. Such a waste of her time. Location is very good, close to trail entrances. Price is low compared to other hotels, however if you have a car it's probably better to find something nicer in the villages below. It was still available 2 days before the stay on a sunny Sempteber weekend, while most of the moutains shelters were fully booked untill late October. No problem with parking at 7pm. Friendly dog :)
  : The whole building need renovation. It's like coming back in time to the 80's. Toilets and showers outside of the room. We had to walk on floor down to the toilet. Bathrooms are really outdated, small, no curtains in the showers. I won't say dirty but kind of disgusting. Very small, outdated room. Breakfast was poor, at 8:15 almost everything was gone already. If it wouldn't name itself a hotel then I wouldn't complain. It's the quality of some worse moutain shelters in Tatras. But some of them really surpass this in quality for a smaller price.
