: Breakfast had a nice view overlooking the coast with good coffee.
: We found the manager Nello to be dishonest. We arrived two days early in Amalfi and discussed with Nello modifying our booking. He said he would open our future two nights up on booking.com and if someone booked them he would refund us the money. We stayed one night, the next morning we were told our room had been booked and he would refund the money after we wrote a good review. It was peak season and he had sold the room for a lot more than we had initially paid. Nello only refunded one night and kept the rest of the money. Booking.com knows this information and can see the room was re-sold. So I would not believe anything Nello tells you, and communicate through booking.com. To-date the money hasn't been returned as Nello promised. In Australian dollars this is a considerable amount of money. Getting there, you have to walk all the way through town. There is a lift to get up to reception, narrow steep stairs in the building internally to get to the rooms.
