  : Bed was comfy.
  : The location was just a bit too far out to be convenient. It felt like a long walk back each evening and we often opted for a bus. Strange mechanical noise all through the night , which we couldn't identify (it sounded like a lift but could have been an external air conditioning unit or something) but was noisy and interrupted our sleep even with earplugs in. If you're a sound sleeper it might not bother you, but there was also traffic noise.We stayed in Modena, Parma and Bergamo on the same trip and this was the most expensive so didn't feel like it was great value for money by comparison unfortunately.

  : Room was very big and cleaned super well every day. Room was well equipped with flatiron + board, etc. There was coffee and cookies offered in a hall daily, as well as fresh water bottles free of charge.
  : Room was noisy, as there is busy road right in front of the windows. Light sleepers should take ear plugs with (not available in hotel). Funny thing is the coffee cups in a hall: there is a coffee machine and pods free of charge but cups were way too small for the coffee and you could not adjust the amount. I was also slightly suspicious about the city tax which I needed to pay in cash in check-in, and it was higher than official webpage of Bologna says.

  : Clean and comfortable, especially on the 2 cold nights (out of 6) we had, when the heating was perfectly efficient, and an extra duvet already in the room a big plus. A 20 min walk to the center, but with numerous buses stopping right in front of the hotel it was a pretty good location. Water-bottles in the fridge a big plus and the coffee/tea machine at the end of the corridor, with biscuits, made me feel extra welcome. Helpful staff, a lift for my heavy luggage (only a few steps first) was all I could ask for.
  : Not affecting my stay, but there are not a lot of shops and restaurants right there, but a bus trip to the center is my recommendation, otherwise a 10 min walk consulting google maps or a pizza across the street, a fish restaurant with obscure opening hours a tiny bit down the road and a daytime bistro/caf downstairs. Since I used the buses a lot with my tight schedule, the ticket machines onboard the buses can be faulty, recommend buying the tickets in the tobacco shops around.
