  : The staff from arrival to departure were pleasant , helpful and very accommodating.The facilities overall were certainly good and the food including breakfast was well prepared, presented and one had plenty of choice.
  : Although in the room there was everything you would need for a break etc ,the room was described as cosy and certainly lived up to its name not in the general room size which was adequate but having a double bed where it was pushed right up to the window where one had to climb over ones partner to get in and out as necessary was not ideal.

  : Loved the toiletries, minibar, and relaxing feel with the room decor. Fresh milk in the fridge is a great touch, but think more breakfast tea teabags could be supplied in the room. The quality of food at breakfast was lovely.
  : The room was very small, and it overlooked the busy junction outside, which was noisy throughout the night, I didn't sleep well at all. No wardrobe, just a few hooks on the wall. I think with a bit of thought, the room could be furnished much better. No shelves or storage in the bathroom to keep personal toiletry items/washbag. The sachet of hot chocolate was to be made with hot milk, but no facilities to do this in the room.

  : Staff food / breakfast great .Nice rooms apart from the one we stayed in (Boscombe)Its bathroom was very small and the shower door didnt shut properly .
  : Wouldnt stay in the front of the building. We didnt get much sleep as noisy students were sat underneath our room even with the window closed we couldnt sleep until they left at 11.30.

  : Despite the rooms being above a pub it was very quiet at night, as the pub is closed by 11pm.
  : Room very small. The bed is pushed against a wall so you can only get out one side of it. Not much storage space for clothes.

  : We couldnt really find much to like.
  : The Butcombe pubs weve stayed in previously have been great, so the bar was set quite high. The description said newly refurbished - it certainly wasnt. Very tatty. No-one at reception, and bar staff reluctantly opened it. The room was dull and dingy with little natural night and poor lighting. The restaurant was far too noisy due to loud music - you could hardly hear yourself speak - the clientele were mostly our age but we felt they were trying to please a younger age group. Too many items on the menu were unavailable (all the ones my husband wanted!). He was offered salad to replace noodles. We asked for a glass of Malbec and a glass of rose (after a long tedious drive that took 7 hours instead of 4) - we questioned the bill when we saw the two glasses of wine were 32.00 and were told wed had nice ones. We hadnt consulted the drinks menu in fairness but werent expecting them to be that expensive. The staff were noisy and a bit arrogant to be fair. Shame really - weve always left glowing reviews before.

  : The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We could also walk to the beach within 30 mins. Checking in and out was straightforward.
  : There was nothing we didnt like. The only disappointment was that some of the food choices on the dinner menu were not available which included the vegetarian option.
