  : Location is good, close enough to town but a little outside for a countryside feel. The fireplace is cozy. The hosts provided a Christmas cake and tea/coffee and milk. Bathroom is modern and clean.
  : Difficult to find with no signage, especially in the dark as the check-in time was 6 PM. It took about 10 min to find once we had arrived according to the GPS. 6 PM check-in is also quite late. Beds are incredibly uncomfortable (way too soft / worn), so bad that we almost went home after the first night! Seating for 4 adults in the lounge is tight. There is one large couch (leather - unlike in the pictures) and the armchair's springs stick through the seat - impossible to sit on! We didn't cook but the cutlery provided only included one teaspoon and one tablespoon. I'm shocked that this isn't checked during each cleaning/changeover. Given all the above, and paying 323 per night, I would not stay here again.
