  : Cheap collapsed bed. Large unexpected delivery to the property arrived at 7.30am which I was expected to sign for. Not at all impressed with lack of response of owner until the evening. Poor form.. sadly.

  : The water was not turned on and had to make 2 calls before getup through to someone; the emergency line advised to call back later!. I found the water lever in a downstairs cupboard before anyone got back to me and despite me calling again to say I had found the water lever and all was working, I received a call later asking to check if I had switched the correct one on as the lever for the downstairs apartment had to be turned off. We were out for dinner so could return. The towels were old and of poor quality.

  : Nice quiet location and excellent first floor apartment. Well furnished.
  : The building work going on downstairs to improve the overall two storey property. Cant say it particularly bothered us and the workers were very considerate. And because of the wonderful weather we were out most of the time.

  : I think that Wool Cottage is best for younger people! The stairs were difficult with twist in them, shower was in bath so not easily as accessible and I certainly did not appreciate builders starting drilling at 8.00 am!

  : The location was great, walking distance to everything. The host was extremely helpful and very quickly sorted out a couple of minor issues. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable.
  : The bathroom is a little old and tired. It was a first floor apartment rather than a cottage.

  : The location was perfect. We were impressed by how close to the pubs and town it was. We had a problem with the toilet not flushing on arrival but this was rectified straight away. We loved the decor and apartment , the upstairs and downstairs flats were still under construction with builders working there on arrival. We would stay there again.
  : We felt that as the downstairs and upstairs flats were still being renovated, certain areas werent finished, the stairs and landing and the garden were still being being finished with builders working in the downstairs apartment on arrival.

  : The apartment is in a great location being just a few minutes walk from the main street. Being in a close it is very quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the dining and seating area has plenty of space for two people. On-site parking in front of the property is an asset.
  : Unfortunately, the bathroom and kitchenette let the property down. The former has no heating so drying towels takes a long time. The towels need replacing as they are no longer fluffy and one was off-white. The kitchenette is small and contains a small dishwasher, free standing induction hob and combined microwave and fan assisted oven. But there is no saucepan for boiling eggs, cooking rice or pasta and no suitable containers with lids in which to cook vegetables in the microwave oven. A smaller frying pan would be more practical when cooking for just two people. No tea towels were provided. Eight mugs and eight small and larger plates are provided but only three cereal bowls. The front garden has outdoor seating but is overgrown with ivy and could be made so much more attractive.
