  : The Crows Nest is a property with history, being a very old building. It was so close to the centre of Buxton with 6 or 7 restaurants a stones throw away. We loved having our own pool table

  : Central location in Buxton with parking space. 2 bathrooms Newly refurbished, well equipped Sociable open plan layout Large windows in lounge overlooking the street and park opposite.
  : Not a complaint as we were only able to stay for 3 nights, but a longer stay is much better value for money

  : The apartment had everything you could need, kitchen was functional, amazing fridge and all the equipment required to make lovely meals for a group. Includes an iron and ironing board, which wasn't clear from the listing. It was really cosy and warm, beds were comfortable with extra pillows available. Relaxing in front of the TV with a film after a long day walking was great and the pool table was a real lovely bonus which we all spent lots of time playing. The location is amazing, very central and close to everything in Buxton. Howard met us outside the property and gave us the keys and some recommendations, the owners were really friendly and helpful. In terms of early check out, as others have commented, we spoke to the owners and they were more than happy to let us leave our bags in the apartment for a couple of hours so we could go have breakfast, which was a real help, so would advise having a word directly and you can contact the owners via the estate agents downstairs.
  : As others have commented one of the sofas is a bit tired and sinks low but is fine and it wasn't clear that the main bathroom doesn't have a stand-in shower. The en-suite shower could do with updating, but was functional and warm.

  : Great instructions sent through on a presentation with photos on the location of parking, and lockbox, great help when you arrive to a property without a reception. Property was perfect for a family stay.
  : Bathrooms were clean and in good condition, but could do with a bigger shower and maybe modernising.
