  : The location was good, the hotel was very clean and welcoming environment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
  : Not really the properties fault… We had been traveling all day and we’re hoping to get something to eat, but it was late night and there was nothing available except for junk food

  : We chose this hotel because it was close to Grand Rapids, without being right in GR. Building is newer, everything was clean, room was good size, shower had good water pressure and fast drain, great location, indoor pool, workout room, good breakfast bar, easy access to main roads.
  : Room door is noisy, bathroom door is very close to toilet (small bathroom floor space), no microwave in the room (but had microwave available in breakfast area).

  : The property was clean and seemed quite new. Our king room was a nice size.
  : The ac/heat blower was right beside the bed. That meant cold air blowing directly on one of us. If we turned temp up the rest of the room got warm and stuffy. Breakfast was just ok. Food ran low quickly and area got kind of messy.Front desk person seemed to need to monitor food, coffee, bar area, guest needs away from desk. A lot for one person. We waited along with other customers when we first arrived because no one was at the desk for 5-10 minutes. They were attending to needs away from desk. Not horrible, just less convenient after a long travel day.

  : We requested new towels, trash to be changed, and more toilet paper for our 3 night stay. We had to ask multiple times for these simple things. All we were told was sorry we're short staffed

  : The location was ideal. The daily Continental Breakfast was vast with fresh selections daily. The property was once well maintained and has since fallen by the wayside. We stayed over a week and even upon placing an additional request at the front desk, we were not able to get the sheets changed. We had to ask for clean towels, and coffee daily. There was no "maid service". Twice had to ask for a roll of toilet paper. On the bright side, the design of the room was interesting. While the sofa sitting area offered the benefit of relaxing, there were design flaws in the room layout, lack of privacy and no quiet place to use even a hair dryer without waking someone up, overriding the television, etc,,,,traffic can be heard from the existing hwy M-6 and quite a bit of air traffic flying over hotel too, despite it not being real close to GR Ford Airport.
  : Cleaning services. Over a week stay and we couldn't get the bed sheets changed. Also right outside the main entry doors the garbage pails were overflowing with garbage and the entire time of our stay, where someone had gotten sick outside the front doors, no one even bothered to clean it up! Birds, bugs and old puke not good perks when running a business. While I appreciate a diverse environment, so many workers didn't speak conversational English, or stated they didn't know English. Everyone smiled though which helped brighten the mood. It wasn't just us who had a similar experience. Language barriers created issues with several travelers as we over heard discussions daily in the breakfast area. Also make sure to print out your hotel itineary and keep with you while traveling. At checkout, we were charged an additional days stay. Had I not had my original paperwork at time of booking (guess it was too hard for hotel staff to read when pulled up via phone) I would not have had proof that I paid upfront for our stay at the time I made reservations.

  : The power went out on the outlet in room in the middle of the night. I sleep with a CPAP machine so this woke me up at 3am and I couldn't fall back asleep until I got up and cycled the power back on to the outlet. The remote was also missing a battery so I couldn't turn on the TV. I booked a "king suite" which is basically a queen bed with a pull out. Deceiving in the description in my opinion as I'm expecting a King bed.
