  : Location is great with views of the Alps from the property, staff were friendly. The pool looked nice but we didnt go in it, all the sunbeds were taken. The towels and shower was very good. The drive up to the house is impressive and the parking was great and also secure. The bed was clean and comfy. The place is dog friendly (even at dinner in the restaurant).
  : Our room looked like it was the original servant's quarters. It might be because we were travelling with a dog but it was pretty poor. It had a few cobwebs in the corners, the fridge didnt work and the kettle still had water in it and needed to be descaled. The toilet room was so small my Partner (who's 6ft) had to leave the door open for him to sit down. The restaurant looked lovely but the food was average. The breakfast (included in the price) was awful. The boiled egg machine didnt work, there were no scrambled eggs or bacon (there had been - but had all gone by 9am). Definitely not a 4 star (more a 3).

  : Beautiful building and grounds. Lovely pool and terrace. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean. Lovely dining room. Good wine at fair prices. Good breakfast. Very nice staff- but inexperienced.
  : While there is a lovely forest behind the chateau , there is also a fairly unattractive suburban industrial estate and roads below it. Weather was bad during our stay (not hotels fault) and so we would have enjoyed a lounge or sitting area for guests to use in daytime. However other than a small very dark bar, there was none. Dinner was poor quality-not what we expected. In fairness when we complained we were not charged for one main course. As usual, poor bedside reading light. Staff were lovely but almost all seemed new and inexperienced. It felt as though the hotel had recently changed hands (?) and that this was a brand new team.
