  : The water pressure for the shower was great. The AC worked really well despite the heat. I really appreciated the onsite free parking. Everything in the room seemed old and worn with marks or stains, but functioned fine. There was always someone visibly at the front desk to help if needed. Front desk and cleaning staff were very nice and helpful.
  : Their second elevator was broken, and it looks like it's been broken for a while. Our room was the absolute furthest you could be from the functional elevator, and our nearby stairwell didn't access the first floor. The front door handle for the hotel is broken, meaning anyone can get in that entrance without a key. The room had a handful of fruitflies. The booking info said the restaurant was under construction, so we had to order delivery and couldn't get breakfast.

  : First, let me say the staff was amazing. Everyone who was working was super helpful and friendly and welcoming, and all of them had positive attitudes. The location was good close to chinatown, and the beaches (the festival we attended was at oakwood Beach) also close to downtown state St. The Staff working throughout our whole stay was the best part of this stay. Thank you all for being super friendly despite all the issues that need to be fixed in the hotel itself. Hopefully, the hotel company/owner fixes some of these issues like the elevators... soon.
  : The elevators would stop working throughout the day. The room we were in had a door from what used to be a balcony the second night of our stay it started raining and the door wasn't seal properly so the while floor was drenched inform of the door from ceiling to carpet. Although we did let the front desk people know about this issue, even though it was late in the night and they were very helpful and understanding about the issue and moved us to a different room. I really appreciate the staff moving us to a different room. We are beyond grateful. It also rained on the third night of our stay, and I couldn't even imagine how bad the floor must have been in that room. Also, the first room we were in smelled humid and airfreshener when we first walked in. The wifi would periodically stop working throughout the day. Lots of fruit flies/nat flies on the second floor hallways and in the room we had.

  : The size of the room was excellent and it appeared to be somewhat newly remodeled. The large parking lot was great but the hotel was not full so I can’t say if the lot is big enough if the lot is full. The front desk lady was very pleasant and helpful.
  : The internet was down and this was inconvenient and there was no adjustment in pricing. There was the option to cancel the reservation but I found out when I arrived an hotel prices were over inflated due to events in town which is common for Chicago so there was nowhere else to go for a similar amount of money. In addition the room was very warm when we arrived and the air conditioning seeemed to struggle to cool the room so we were uncomfortable sleeping in the warm room because our stay was in the summer.
