: Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean with lovely decor.
: Room was rather small. Nowhere to store two suitcases. Breakfast was well cooked and presented but it was disappointing that there was no fruit of any kind.

: Excellent staff and a pub with good atmosphere. The food was excellent with an interesting menu. Consequently not cheap but good value.
: Our bedroom and bathroom was very comfortable but a little on the small side. Plenty of drawer space but no wardrobe.

: Allowed us to check in early. Room decor was beautiful, although bathroom area was small the facilities within the bathroom were excellent, including a very powerful shower. Complimentary tea, coffee and water selections were a lovely touch. Bar had a good selection of drinks and although they did not have our first choice of beverage they went out of their way to produce and even better substitute. Breakfast was amazing, homemade granola, porridge served with fresh cream, sugar and golden syrup, home baked pastries, yoghurt with fruit compote, locally sourced bacon for the sourdough baguettes, hot choices were superb too! Staff were so accommodating.
: Only one complaint was no dinner option for the Sunday evenings! We did tell the manager when we checked out and he explained that this was down to new ownership and they were trying to rectify this as soon as the business allowed.
