  : We stayed in Civitavecchia the night prior to our cruise. It was a convenient location close to the free pick-up area for the port, restaurants directly outside the building, stores/shopping and sightseeing in the walking area, just a short taxi ride from the train terminal. Typical Italian breakfast provided in cost.
  : I wish it would have been made known that you need to have What's App to communicate with the owner -- that is how you receive the instructions on getting into the building and B&B area as no one is at the facility to greet you. This is an app that we do not use so we needed to download and figure things out. Also we just happened to have upgraded our phone carrier prior to the trip or we would not have had coverage while in Europe - not sure what would have happened if we had the former plan.

  : The location to the port and waterfront
  : No air conditioning was a problem. It definitely needed a large fan in the room as even with the window open it was stifling hot. Also because no sir and windows opening we could hear the people down in the restaurant below, singing, talking until mid.

  : Nice clean and simple stay, exceptionally fast wifi and clean and simple facilities. Being a port city, most people go in and out so the vicinity can be a bit noisy but nothing to worry about.
  : Shower head was broken but I managed to screw it in.

  : Excellent location being only a 15 minute walk from the train station (20 minutes when dragging luggage) and a five minute walk to the cruise port entrance. Easy self service check in and good communication with host using WhatsApp.
  : Although adequate, the shower stall is smaller than onboard ship. The shared kitchen could use a few more cooking and eating utensils, but the compact espresso machine was excellent.
