  : First and foremost, excellent location. It’s a nice historic hotel with lots to look at and charming.
  : Due to the age of the building a little challenging to get bags in and out, room a little small etc. But, fully expected with a historic hotel.

  : Diamond Belle was awesome. Love the bartender. Food was great!
  : The room was kind of small. The bed was a little hard.

  : Location was great. The room was quiet.
  : The AC did not cool. the outside temp was in the 50's at night and high 70's during the day. When we arrived the AC temp was 73F, sometime at night, the AC temp was 74F, and when we left it was 73F. Our room window opened to the fire escape so we did not open. When we checked out we noticed that many of the room windows were open for cooling.This wasn't a huge problem but if it were summer, it could have been far more uncomfortable.

  : Handy downtown location.
  : The front desk staff was quite uninformed about nearby dinner and breakfast locations giving us incorrect information. The Office Bar, on site, where we ate dinner was terribly understaffed. Tables were left uncleared, and service was slow and stressed.

  : We’ve visited and stayed a few times before and loved the historic hotel and location. We loved the bars and live music and excellent service in the bar despite lack of staff.
  : The hotel seemed to be a bit of a shadow of what it was 5 + years ago when we last stayed. We were so disappointed to walk into restaurant in the morning to no breakfast whatsoever being served. A disinterested member of staff directed us to a sparse selection of cafes in Main Street. At dinner previous evening we discovered a signature dish of dessert (banana foster) had disappeared off menu “as too popular”. Even our dinner experience and previous ambience wasn’t there. Maybe we shouldn’t have tried to relive good memories!?
