  : Excellent location and spacious accommodation in spotless condition.
  : Compact bathroom and low shower pressure and slow drain. When you have 5 it does take time.

  : Location is very central - between Princes Street and George Street. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants on the doorstep. Large, comfortable sitting/dining room with double aspect and lots of natural light. One very large bedroom with storage, one smaller one. Kitchen area is well equipped. Good electric shower in small bathroom.
  : Flat is managed by an agent who was unresponsive to several issues (no wifi and TV didn't work). Very confusing keys - just a bunch of 8 keys with no labels and no instructions about which floor flat was on so it took a while to get in. Flat was clean but marks on carpet, paintwork and furniture, a broken headboard on one bed, missing light bulbs in table lamps in several rooms - the decor has seen better days. Noisy during the night with pubs closing nearby and people shouting in the streets until very late, then rubbish lorries collecting bottles from bars etc very early in the morning. No instructions in flat on how to work things. Wifi did not work and agent did not fix it despite several requests which made it impossible to work during the stay. TV didn't work - no signal then on the last day we discovered it was not tuned to any stations. Very poor support from agent Houst. Similar comments in visitors book from other guests. Disappointing though our trip to Edinburgh was very enjoyable.

  : The property is a nice clean property in the middle of Edinburgh. Close to all attractions. The property is a good size for 4 people. If you are 6 people in your party then consider another property as the sleeper couch is very basic. Cushions are good. 9 minute walk from Edinburgh Train Station. The property was warm and cosy.
  : The hosts bombard you with admin questions and proof of who you are. There is no directions once you retrieve the keys from the lockbox and walk through the entrance of the building (you just need to wing it up to the second floor and test various doors until you get in. The windows are all single glazed so noise travels straight through. The adjacent streets are home to pubs and nightclubs so you will have noise through the night on weekends. The shower cuts out when you least expect it. Wait for 90 seconds and then turn it on again. The sleeper couch is a killer. The bedroom mattresses are all right.

  : Location fab straight.in the centre.
  : Stains everywhere, from settees to carpets. Then on leaving striping bedding off there were stains over the mattress protectors and no protectors on pillows and stains all over them. No tea coffee milk provided. Pre used toiletries and old out of date food and bottles in cupboards. Smoke alarm started beeping every minute in middle of night I'm guessing batteries needed changing . Bulbs missing or not working in lamps.

  : good location above a closed down Chinease on the corner of rose street and castle street. Bit noisy at night but that was to be expected. comfortable beds. Apartment was spacious and clean. This would have been given a 10 if we had washing facilities.
  : When we arrived we followed all the instructions given. When we went to take a shower we then found out that the pull cord For the electric shower was broke. Big black burn mark to the unit. We werent allowed in the property until after 3pm due to cleaning taking place. Surely the cleaners knew this otherwise how was the shower cleaned and rinsed! Only facilities to get washed was a small sink in which the plug was broke. This meant we had to leave the tap running and as the water supply is from a very small tank we ran out of hot water pretty quickly. It certainly didnt last for 6 people!! IReported the issue straight away and was promised someone would come and fix it - no one cameBack and forth to the property management company all weekend who were full of empty promises. Promised call backs and didnt get them and promised maintenance that didnt come. We had an autistic child with us whos obsession is to be clean. He went into meltdown meaning we also had his behaviour to deal with. Plans had to be cancelled ie the dome etc which we had looked forward to for months. It was Christmas and we knew how lucky we were to get a table. This cost us money as we lost deposits. We were told to go and buy toilet roll as only half a one was left by housekeeping. We also had to go and buy wipes in order to get clean (more cost to us) In my view the shower was essential. I could have stayed in a hostel for a lot less and had more facilities. In the end we were given compensation in monetary value but this didnt make up for a spoilt weekend.

  : location is close to Main Street and activity.
  : To start with, the key scenario, we had to go through all the keys to get the right ones for the right doors, the apartments location is at the second floor, which would have been fine had there be lights but there arent. When it gets dark you cant see anything because of the no lights situation, causing injuries to occur. The apartment hasnt been ventilated for long time, producing a bad smell also a lot of stains. The restroom is unbelievably small, and the shower drain is clogged. When you move around the room the windows shake and the floors feel unsteady. The rooms are very hot and humid so naturally we kept the windows open which resulted in all kinds of insects to enter.Speaking about the bedrooms, the master bedroom honestly gave me and my family the creeps, something about it gave us all a unsettling feeling, also some small insects were under the bedsheets!!. The second room hasnt been ventilated for very long time as long as the rest of the apartment. One thing that annoyed us is the outside disturbances due to many bars around, so whenever we came to open the windows in the evening we would hear the ruckus all night long. In one word, its an eerie apartment, I felt a feeling of unpleasantness. My family and I could not sleep on the first night of staying there, so we left the next day.

  : The location and the design of the main bedroom and the setting room
  : First, the toilet is too small and heater too close to the washing basin where you have to be careful when moving forward and backwards as you might burn yourself. Second, its a big hassle to lift luggage to second floor throug the stair as there is no lift in the premise.
