  : The quiet spot and the views were amazing.
  : I wasn't able to open the curtains of an evening or in the mornings unless fully dressed as no other options for privacy, i.e. blinds, net, etc.

  : We stayed in one of the suites and it was beautiful with lots of space for us.The reception staff were brilliant.
  : The terrace bar staff on the other hand were not as pleasant. We orders two breakfasts and the staff only heard one, so I got mine but my husband had to go to order / pay for his. I only got a single egg on my plate even though there was a mention of two on the menu. There was no apologies from the staff, and they could have offered a complimentary drink or something..When I asked for cold water with a few ice cubes in a mug / bowl to cool my daughters milk bottle, the person who was serving me, have a funny look as to “what does she want that for” I had to explain why I wanted it!We had to ask for our room to be cleaned on the first morning of our stay as we had lots of nappies in the bins. The gentleman was lovely and emptied the bins but it would have been better for the room to be cleaned without having to request it.The food was ok, was very expensive what what you received and not much variety for vegetarians.The suite was beautiful but the coffee tables were very sticky

  : Excellent buffet Breakfast; Reasonable room size very clean and comfortable. Large screen Smart TV; Good wifi; Pleasant, courteous and helpful staff; A good location if you are exploring the locality by car; Evening meals good but limited choice
  : This is a difficult question to answer. Catering facilities are limited. The terrace bar/clubhouse in particular was not as good as when we have visited in the past. Don't want to be negative as this is a very good hotel and there's not a lot to dislike if you are into spa, fitness, and golf. The hotel does this very successfully with full car parks and constant activity throughout the day while we were there. Great for the current owners but lacking for those of us of more mature years unable to use such facilities.

  : Breakfast was good. Room was very spacious and clean. We slept well in a comfortable bed. Room was generally quiet though there was a little noise from the corridor at one point.
  : Room 102: the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work; the water from the hot tap was too hot, almost scalding; the flush on the toilet was inadequate. We felt the menu choices for dinner was uninspiring and we ate elsewhere. The shower (over the bath) could have had a handrail for improved accessibility.

  : Spa facilities lovely (guests have to rent bathrobes though, so consider bringing your own). Location great, however the view from the majority of the rooms is of the car park not the wonderful surrounding countryside. Room was a very good size and bed comfy, upgraded recently in part but carpet and bathroom fairly dated...all clean and towels were soft.
  : My main concern was the noise. Our room was located right next to the reception/main entrance. Unfortunately a large group of party goers decided to stand right outside the reception and therefore our room, in the early hours. They proceed to sing rugby songs, laugh and talk loudly... no member of staff asked them to quieten down or to move on. It took me opening the window and asking them to do so to encourage them to disperse.And then in the morning (way before we had planned to rise on our "relaxing break"), several people congregated outside reception (our window) to have a morning smoke whilst drinking their coffee and chatting loudly. I am not normally one to complain, but i did speak to the reception regarding my concerns on checking out...her response was "oh, we did have a big party staying with us last night!" Not really the response i would expect.We also found the breakfast to be lacking of any healthy options, surprising for a 4* Spa hotel. No fruit available etc. Breakfast is completely cafeteria style, no member of staff comes to your table, not even to bring coffee.
