  : It was clean and pleasant. It’s run by nuns and they were very kind and helpful.
  : The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Also there is a midnight curfew that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the advert.

  : Good location near the center of Firenze. Within a few minutes of walking, you are in the old part of the city. Nice accomodation especially at the backside with a beautiful garden. Rooms are very clean! The accomodation is run in the presence of 2 helpfull and very friendly catholic sisters.
  : Breakfast was a little disappointing (but that is a personal opinion): the coffee was very strong (I think they still use chicory...), only 1 kind of bread meant to be toasted without a toaster though (but I admit ... we never asked for it), no cheese, ham or any meat, no egg(s), ... but for the ones who love the sweet stuff: daily fresh made cake available!

  : We were nicely and warmly received in this atypical place by the 2 nuns who run this B&B. All the house and the room were very clean and you will find all the equipments you need including the air conditioning (the rooms are simple and adequate). The garden is also very well-kept and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning on the terrace. The house is located in the ZTL zone and you can park your car at the Porta Romana garage (2 minutes far by foot) which will register your car to avoid any fine. The house is very well located : 10 minutes walk away from all the must-see places of Florence. Even if the host can't provide you with a restaurant service, it is very easy to find a good place to eat in the district.

  : We had the “family room,” which was really 2 rooms connected by the shared bathroom (kids in one room, me & hubby in the other). I thought we’d get charged for 2 rooms but they count it as 1 (understandably, given the bathroom between). The A/C worked really well, which was a blessing bc it was in the high 80s (°F) the week we visited. The location is a little off the beaten path, but that kept it quiet, and it was close to Piazza San Spirito and Boboli Gardens. We still walked to everything: Ponte Vecchio only took us 10-15 minutes to get to. Speaking of gardens, Casa Betania’s is soooooo beautiful!! It was such a delight to eat breakfast out there each day and lounge there in the evenings while the kids chased lizards or played on the soccer field or playground. The hotel is run by nuns who are very friendly and helpful. They do all the cooking and cleaning and managing. Profits are used to support their missions, so you can feel good about supporting a good cause by staying with them!
  : The bedspreads could use an update, and the tile floors and high ceilings, while great for keeping the place cool, lend themselves to echoes and amplifying doors and voices.
