  : It was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I am pleased.
  : Perhaps too expensive for one room. One week before in Florence I paid for 2 rooms and kitchen similar amount of money and it was close to the centre.

  : Amazing location - two minutes from Firenze Santa Maria Novalla train station, five from the Mercato Central. Huge, clean room with lots of natural light (and shutters for overnight!), and a luggage rack. Small but spotless modern bathroom. Bed was firm, but okay; a mattress topper would be helpful. There was no blanket on the bed, but fortunately we found it in the wardrobe, along with a kettle and tea supplies. Coffee and biscuits were available by reception. Wi-fi was reliable; we didn't need to use the A/C, as the high ceilings and stone floors kept things cool enough to need the blanket. Hristina and the other staff were friendly and helpful. While the reception desk is only staffed until 3pm, Hristina was available within minutes on WhatsApp.
  : A few things kept this place from being a 10/10 stay. - The room was sparsely furnished to the point of feeling stark and impersonal. We would have appreciated a couch or armchairs and a coffee table, so that we could sit and relax. I hope there are rugs for the winter months, as that floor would be very cold. - More hanging space in/near the bathroom would be helpful. There's only one double hook for bath towels/clothing. - Coffee facilities were provided in the hallway, but no milk after the staff leave, so they are useless to anyone who needs it. A mini-fridge or shelf-stable creamer packets would easily solve this issue - especially since there was a fridge in the room. - Our room shared a wall with the stairwell; we heard EVERYTHING, which made for a difficult night/morning. There is a language school in the building, as well as multiple other guesthouses, so lots of people (and many chatty kids/teens) moving about. Noise from other rooms was also an issue. - While not a fault of La Grancontessa, the lift was having issues during our stay. We were almost trapped in it in the evening; people were trapped between floors when we left.

  : Good location, super close to the train station. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes. Room is basic but has everything you need. We were able to check out and store our bags until later in the day. Staff went above and beyonf (special thanks to Ari).

  : On the whole, we enjoyed our stay. The location is key - just around the corner from the tramline & the guesthouse has great staff, both Ari & Arta made some good suggestions! The cleanliness was meticulous - thank you Joshua. Coffee & filtered water in reception is a bonus & we appreciated the luggage storage after we checked out.
  : The mattress could have been softer and we did need more surface space to put things down - especially in the bathroom, which was quite small but manageable.

  : Location is excellent, 2 mins to rail station, 5 mins to central market, got a nice balcony. Room is quite big compare to Rome and Milan Staff is very welcoming and helpful.

  : Great location! The staff is lovely and very helpful. The cuttest elevator in the building. The view from our window. The bathroom. The spacious room. Tea and coffee.
  : The noise was a total turn-off. We could hear so much from the reception and other guests. A sound proof door would make this hotel almost a perfect location. Id add extra pillows to the rooms as a standard. The bed was ok comfy but a mattress cover could also help since it is 2 single beds together and at times they would split.
