  : Management was welcoming and even "up graded" our room due to severe weather resulting in cancellations. Upon entering room TV wasn't working. Called front desk about problem and response was immediate to remedy problem.We arrived Saturday, July 6th, and departed the next morning.
  : The next morning we discovered there was no hot water. Also, the electrical outlet for the coffee maker did not work. Furthermore, the floors were gritty. Since we were wearing slippers during the evening, we did not notice the floor's condition. But in the morning upon getting out of a cold shower, it was very apparent the floor was filthy. Attempts to notify management was futile. Note on office door stated they would be open at 3:00 pm later in day. I left a note along with the key at the office stating the problems. On our way to Austin the management called regarding this. She said she appreciated the feedback and would insure it was rectified. For $200. (normally $50. now $40.) we expected more. If this was an "up grade", I'd hate to see the standard room. I asked the management for some form of recompence. She said she would talk to the owner in a couple of days but any recompence would be out of the question. I requested she contact me regardless upon talking with owner. She said she would, but one week later no word. Why am I not surprised?

  : Odd check in area, messy. Old style, a real key. The outside of the motel looked very old.

  : The sweetest lil old lady met me at the office and was very friendly and helpful. The room was just what I needed, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, good a/c, plenty of towels. The place is a bit dated but well kept and clean. I don't believe in spending a whole lot of money on a room I'm going to be in with my eyes closed most of the time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
  : The bathroom was a tad small but not uncomfortable.
