  : The location of the hotel was central to our plans for the time we spent in Speyside. The hotel was comfortable and quiet.
  : A buffet style breakfast might have been better than ordering the previous night.

  : Breakfasts were very good as were the twoo eving meals we had during our stay. The two students that served us at our meals were excellent.
  : Limited evening menu.Being charged a service charge for drinks at the bar, I was however refunded this in cash, rather begrudgingly!The bedrooms were worn with fixtures and fitting not up to expectations with no bedside tables to the height of the beds! The carpet had not been hovered for some time and very stained along with one of the bedside lampshades.Nowhere to put any clothes away in drawers.The shower was blocked, however that was sorted out, despite the Manager saying it was down to the size of the pipes!The Manager definately needs to do some work on his interpersonal skills, as we all found him to be almost rude and condescending.I came to the hotel looking to possibly book 5 full weeks x 6 rooms throughout the fishing season on the river, as I organise guided fishing trips.I came up with a few friends to look at various opportunities for my business. The Speyside Hotel is somewhere I won't be bringing my business to next season.

  : Breakfast ok but such a big thing about Chef Lucy and really wasn’t anything particularly dynamic!
  : Didnt like check-in and being told to make my trip to room worthwhile as was up 2 flights of stairs - no offer of help with luggage as both retirees!!! Country house hotel overlooking social housing!

  : Set on a backstreet in Grantown on Spey, with easy access for cars. Nice and helpful staff and huge clean room with comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The house is a bit of a labyrinth but in a charming way and feels welcoming, warm and very British in a good way. The restaurant is highly recommended, excellent food. Breakfast was among the best I had in a while.
