  : The place is well maintained, Vacasa does a great job at explaining everything needed. The check in & Check out experience nicely mentioned in the instructions. The house was exactly as it was mentioned by the host. We had an infant as she too enjoyed the cabin.

  : The lodge is beautiful, very spacious with two sitting rooms across two floors. It was cosy once we worked out how to use the pellet stove, which blasted out welcome heat during the cool mornings and evenings. The Pool Table was a big hit, especially for our five year old grandchild. It was a wonderful base from which to explore Yosemite, although that meant we were nearly 90 minutes away from Yosemite Valley. But the adjacent lake, golf course and heated swimming pool more than made up for it!
  : The driveway is nearly impossibly steep and we had to decant passengers for our car to make it. Then there's no turning circle at the top, so manoeuvring to get back down again took nerves of steel. Also the lodge is very dark and essentially there are no overhead lights, mainly dimly lit side lamps that aren't sufficient for reading. That was a shame.

  : Power was out for the first two days. I think it is unfair that I would be expected to pay the full amount. The entry/exit from the driveway is near impossible to get in and out of without doing damage to your car and is impossible to see oncoming traffic. Very unsafe.
