Set in a stunning Regency mansion overlooking Esthwaite Water YHA Hawkshead stands within beautiful grounds just a mile from Hawkshead village. It offers a restaurant a games room and a shop for guests. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is located in nearby Hawkshead and Lake Windermere is only a 10-minute drive from YHA Hawkshead. The lush greenery of Grizedale Forest is just outside the hostel home to excellent mountain biking trails and a Go Ape! treetop adventure course.
Guests can relax in the TV lounge and common room or enjoy a game of pool in the games room. There is also a library in the hostel and the beautiful grounds provide plenty of space for relaxation. Cycle storage is provided along with free parking. Guests can make use of a washing machine and laundry facilities as well as a drying room for clothes.
