  : It was very quiet, and we were not disturbed by other quests. The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was bright and comfortable, with good facilites for tea/coffee/drinking chocolate. Complimentary cakes baked by the owners were available, a different cake every day - they were delicious, and this was a very kind and generous gesture! :-)
  : Unfortunately breakfast was not available during the period of our stay, but we were made aware of this prior to my booking, so this is not in any way a criticism! :-) The bed was very hard though - too hard for us, though I appreciate that everyone has different tastes and that others might not feel the same way.

  : The room was comfortable, in a quiet location and within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

  : James the host was lovely. Great location, spotless room, very comfortable bed, drying room and great breakfast.
  : Because of the limited space and the taps meant that it was difficult to wash and rinse hands. The taps need to be twisted further into the centre of the sink. Never stayed anywhere where there were no biscuits in the room. Used to having bath sheets not bath towels.

  : A lovely place to stay with a nice breakfast. The daily cake was also just what was needed after a day on the fells. Really enjoyed the stay
