  : Location and size of room. Also loved the turtle sanctuary and the fact we could do excursions right from the hotel!! The only disappointment was Four Flamingos restaurant on property. It was over priced and not great.

  : Location to Duvall street and the Wharf was perfect!! Rental of golf cart on property was very conveinent
  : The view from our partial ocean view room ,which was an upgraded room upon arrival , looked right over a public beach access which was the convening center for many homeless .. we were located in building 3. They were out on the beach all evening and night making lots of noise and they even slept out there. We were unable to enjoy our” partial ocean view “ balcony at all! We have stayed at many resorts and spas over our years of travel and this property for the price that was charged per room did not fit the esthetics of a resort and spa .

  : The room was great, clean and comfortable bed. The pool and access to the beach is also great and the hotel is really good located right next to a bunch of restaurants and bars.
  : The parking wasn't included and it was expensive (U$35 a day). Breakfast was also not included and expensive, I would recommend eating outside of the hotel.

  : The location of this property is qhat makes it. It's close to the harborwalk, Duval Street, shopping and liquor and convenience stores. There are wonderful restaurants and bars really nearby! We upgraded our room so it faced the waterfront and we got to see boats going in and out all hours which was nice. The staff was wonderful!! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice. It was very clean and a fun place to hang out in the afternoon heat. Having a bar next to it with snacks and drinks available was handy. We also loved the coffee counter for quick morning grab and go coffee and muffins. Having bicycle, golf cart and scooter rentals on property was very convenient. Those folks were also super friendly and helpful.
  : The property has definitely aged. It needs an update and sprucing up. It does not have charging stations that are up to date. They have portable ones plugged into outlets at points in the room. Our shower drain cover was all rusted. The finish on the lamp above the bed had all been worn off, marks on the floor show it's wear and tear, and the elevator floor has spots that sag when you step on them. For what you pay it's just not up to the level it should be. There are other properties in Old Town Key West that are cheaper and in much better condition. Hyatt Centric is most definitely not a five star resort. It claims to have a beach but it is very sad little area. Besides being extremely tiny it's rocky, full of seaweed, and the water at that spot isn't clean. Other than coffee in the morning, we didn't eat at the hotel. It's just too pricey, and with so many other options close by, it made sense to head out. It wouldn't cost Hyatt a lot to make this a five-star resort.
