  : the staff were really helpful and friendly. the dining room was very modern and nicely decorated.
  : the bedroom and bathroom was comfortable, clean and warm but could do with a bit of an update.

  : Rural location, useful stop over point. Food at dinner and breakfast was great.
  : No staff available when we arrived and another guest had to help us find our room but at least we got access straight away.

  : Fine for an overnight stop. Very tranquil, had a good night's sleep. Friendly staff. The evening meal was fine, but we regretted that we hadn't gone al la carte. Nice breakfast. Room small / basic but clean and reasonable value for the price.
  : When we arrived, before 6pm, the hotel was closed up which was a rather disconcerting and not what you want to find after a long drive. We had informed the hotel of our estimated time of arrival, but nothing was said at the time about the hotel only opening at 6.30 when the staff arrive. There was no notice on the door to say this. So we had to ring up and were told that our room (in an outside block) was open and a member of staff would be arriving. This really should be made clear on the Booking.com website. Could do with some new towels!

  : the location is excellent, the room was small but fine. the breakfast was fine.
  : we had booked in advance, but when arriving, the lady who met us - not the owner whom we met next morning- was far from welcoming. we arrived Sunday evening at dinner time, but had not been informed that no dinner was served in the Auberge, there was in fact nothing, the light was off, we were treated as irritant unwelcome sojourners.
