  : Access only after 17:00. Disagreeable owner. Made us pay for two nights when we arrived. Not a Chteau. An ugly house where a Chteau stood once. Misrepresentation about the pool. Used by a gite until 17:00 when allegedly generally available but not the case. The pool itself was 3m by 4m and full of the gites children. Our room was under the breakfast room. Room was large and clean and designed for the disabled so no door in the loo..... No bath mat so tiled floor incredibly slippery. Very old towels. No fans. Ghastly plastic plants and flowers. Breakfast room was straight out of the 70s as was the breakfast. There was a sewer right by the bedroom door which was blocked but stank. Smell was unbearable. We told the owner on the morning and my wife discovered him in our room while we were having breakfast. Two electric air fresheners plugged in already showed this was a problem. We left after one night. Did not argue. Avoid at all costs.

  : The dining room was rather depressive, but the quality of the meal and the staff outbalanced this. Delicious en very friendly.

  : The only issues were that it was impossible to find so we arrived 45 mins later than planned and also I had booked the facility specifically because it had a pool and the pool was not available because it had been given to one of the gites. I think this should be made clear on booking.com when you book.

  : This was an overnight stop on the way to Italy by car. The chateau is not the original, having been destroyed during WW1 but charming all the same. Nice room, very much traditional French style. Nice pond surrounding chateau with a small contingent of ducks. Owner a very friendly man who spoke to us at length about the history of the chateau, showing us a dossier he had made up with historical information and photos. Evening meal excellent, served in a neighbouring outbuilding.. Breakfast very good. Well worth a stay if you like something a bit different from the usual.
  : Not much to complain about, would have preferred coffee at breakfast to be served fresh rather than the usual do it yourself routine from a thermos jug.

  : The location was perfect for us and the swimming pool, whilst small, kept our children fully entertained. The self contained flat was functional. The play area was also excellent and the views were stunning.
