  : I truly like the fact that I'll never, ever stay at this Comfort Inn again. NEVERAfter some discussions, it was brought to my attention these bogus charges happen frequently at Comfort Inn's across the USA. See below for further explanation.
  : I was charged $88.44 at 9am, before I even checked in, I arrived shortly before 6pm that should have been my first warning. Then unknowingly I was charged a $150.00 fee for "incidentals". Herein lies the problem....my company gives me a certain amount of travel money. The bogus "incidental" fee put my card in a deficit amount, and the bank charged me $29 NSF fee. Nowhere on any paper or website was this fee mentioned. Nowhere.I went to dinner not knowing this $150 charge + the $29 NSF fee had been added to my Visa card. Guess what? My Visa card was declined. Ever have that happen to you? It was mortifying.I tried reasoning with the front desk person, to no avail. At 1:30 am I was finally connected to someone who spoke English only to be told it was a usual charge. Interestingly enough, I have stayed at this location on two other occasions and there was never such charges. There was an additional charge ($1.50) for usage of the in-room safe, that I never used nor had ever been billed for previously. So, here we are. My Visa card needs to be credited $29.00 + $1.50 (that would be a total of $30.50) due to the hotel's mismanagement of my booking. I'll be waiting for a response. As a side note, the air conditioner in the room worked poorly and never got the room cooler than 79°As before, I'll be waiting for someone to call to resolve this matter.
