  : We enjoyed our stay at The Meadows. It was a great resort that suited our family of 4 (two kids under age 10). The resort has a sizeable pool in the center, a small playground for the kids and charming decor sprinkled about the grounds. Felix and Diana, the owners, were friendly, hospitable and even offered some tips on which groceries, eateries or beach to go to (Million Dollar beach gets overcrowded so they suggested a great spot in Bolton Landing.) We stayed in cottage #7 which is at the back of the resort. It had 2 bedrooms with 3 beds - perfect size for our family. The cottage also has a stocked kitchen, a refrigerator, and 3 tvs with cable. We also had our own gas BBQ grill and fire pit to use. Some of the other cabins might have a shared fire pit so double check if this is important to you.
  : The cottage could use some more typical amenities, such as shampoo, body soap, lotion and tissues. There was also a lack of towel hooks in the bathroom so we just hung our wet towels over random areas of the cottage. The owners also remarked multiple times, to my discomfort, that we paid too much money to stay in a cottage built for 6. Although it was unprofessional to suggest that, I considered it. However, just because there were 3 full-sized beds in the cottage doesn't necessarily mean you need 2 adults sleeping on each bed. It would get really tight and less than ideal, in my opinion.

  : Great, friendly staff/owners. Excellent location. Everything was recently updated and in very nice shape. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch outside our unit, too. Nice extras like the fire pit, BBQ and pool.
  : Showers were fine but cramped. Bathroom was small overall. Amenities like shampoo and conditioner weren't provided in the bathrooms. (We asked for some though, and the owner very nicely gave us some from a stash.)
