  : The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room and the en suite bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was good. The location was closed to the CHUV Metro station.
  : There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The only way to get a hot drink was to go to the restaurant which was located in the far side of the building from our room. You had to sit down and be served there and pay the bill then and there. We found this very difficult, as we expect tea and coffee in the room in even the most modest of UK hotels.

  : This was our second visit to this hotel within 2 weeks, as we were travelling around in between. We'd been disappointed by the lack of kettle during our first visit, so the second time they gave us a free upgrade to a family room with tea and coffee making facilities. It was a huge room with a wonderful lake view. The breakfast was very good.
  : The system for connecting to the hotel's WiFi was complicated, and involved registering each person's device individually. Then a code had to be sent by text, which I never received. The receptionist managed to sort it out for me, but then BT blocked access to my emails, as they obviously viewed the activity as suspicious. On our second visit the system had remembered my husband's phone but not mine. I couldn't face going through the pallaver again, so stayed offline.The other thing we found a bit odd was the clinical ambience of the hotel, which made us feel more like hospital patients than holiday makers, but I guess we should have expected that from a hotel attached to a hospital!

  : Very comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly. It is conveniently very close to the Metro.
