  : The site is not well cared for. Furniture is well worn. Room was not tidied up daily. Bathtub/shower does not have safety bars. Continental breakfast was not impressive: they only serve decaf coffee on weekends. Staff was polite and helpful.

  : If you need a cheap place to stay that is clean, this place is fine. The location was perfect for my needs. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. I liked having the fridge, microwave and TV. But don’t ask for anything!
  : When I asked the staff to unblock my sink, I was told I asked for too much and “had too many problems”. I had to ask them to do it twice because they just looked at it the first time, realised it wasn’t draining well, and didn’t clear it. It was draining really slowly.I don’t believe I was wrong to ask for the following, when the information wasn’t offered or obvious:- how to turn the shower on. We do not pull on our faucets/taps in the UK so I think this was a reasonable request. Especially since I was just trying not to damage anything!- how to get hold of the staff if I needed them in the middle of the night when my phone wasn’t working and there is no 24 hour desk. I think this was reasonable being a single woman traveller, and a reasonable request of any hotel. They finally told me about the doorbell after ranting at me!- the phone in my room wasn’t working (admittedly it was just unplugged and I should have checked that)- I asked for a ceramic or glass container to heat my food in the microwave so I didn’t have to heat it in plastic, which is really bad for you. Given they used to serve breakfast until recently, I would have thought this might be possible. Apparently they couldn’t be bothered to help me, like with the drain!The guy did come over to my room later to plunge the sink, after telling me I’m too much trouble, as I think he felt bad. He was very nice to me when I checked out, but all a little too late and after being rude.When both staff at once came to my room to resolve my query about the phone not working quite late in the evening in the dark, I was quite intimidated. It didn’t require both of them. It felt like they were shouting at me, and both of them at the same time, so I couldn’t understand them. I was quite upset by it.Most hotels cannot help enough and I’ve NEVER been told I’m asking too much, especially as a paying guest that never leaves a mess.Very disappointing.

  : There was no breakfast, as promised when booking. There was no housekeeping. The faucet in the bathroom leaked heavily. The pool was closed. In short, amenities that I thought I would be able to use when I booked the room were not available. Also the bathroom mirror was held together by tape and the lights between the beds didn't work.
