  : Water was burning in the bathroom (sink and shower), it was really hard to get cooler water and I even burnt my hands.I'm 1.65 metres high and my feet were coming out of the bed.AC wasn't functioning properly in the room. Very small and noisy bedroom, you can literally hear everything and everyone in the corridor. And when you are in the corridor, you can hear people taking their shower. An overall very uncomfortable experience for more than £200.

  : The breakfast was an ok buffet breakfast. The staff tried to be accommodating but the hotel is very disappointing for the price. Would not recommend.
  : We were given a pokey, claustrophobic bedroom which had ripped wallpaper, no headboard on the bed and nothing like the photographs online. We were asked if we were happy with the room and we expressed we were not. We then had to wait to the evening to get a clean room and this room again was very small. Can’t plug in tv or laptop without pulling out furniture, no soap in dispenser, shower head does not even hit your head at its highest setting plus bad smell in bedroom. The queues in the reception are insane and at night time the hotel is loud with a lot of construction noise in the early morning.

  : On arrival we were told our room was almost ready and to come back in 30 minutes. We had no problem with that, so went to a local restaurant for a coffee. On our return we were told our room had a maintenance problem, so we would be put in an alternative room for the night and swapped over to our original room the following day. I had booked an executive split level suite as a bit of a WOW factor for my wife, so was a bit disappointed but thought these things happen, so we would roll with it. The Hotel offered us a free round of drinks as an apology. We were assured the room we were getting was an equivalent but set over one level. As we went to our room and down several sets of stairs it was like entering a cellar. Our view was dustbins, staff smoking area and legs of people in the pub opposite sitting in the raised garden. The room was filthy, the cold water ran warm it was quite unbelievable this was the alternative. I had paid upfront for the room almost 6 months ago but am now convinced that using Booking.com meant they had given our room to somebody elae and hoped to get away with giving us a joke room. We did negotiate a part refund in the end and ended up in the room we booked the following day. The room was nicer but didn't have a mini bar as advertised and the aircon did not work. It was such a shame as the location and staff were good, but the maintenance and cleanliness left a lot to be deisred. We repaired the shower pole, bath plug and cleaned the sofa but did not have enough time to finish all of the cleaning and repairs needed.

  : Very small room and very thin walls, so noise was a problem. No cold running water and no mini fridge for bottled water etc reception staff could have been more helpful and smiled !
