  : They surprised us with saying it was cash only, after taking two different cards. The bathroom was pretty dirty. There was a no guest policy that we were unaware of until we got there. We have allergies to dust and they were really bad there.

  : The location of the hotel was perfect. One stop into the city and a few blocks away from the 7 train which gives you access to many boroughs. Staff monitored guest policy which made us feel secure. They also have a mini fridge in the room and a microwave.
  : I didn't like that the room was pretty small but it's also new york. It would be nice if they had a security guard since the area tends to have a lot of people hanging around by the subway station.

  : It's basic but it fulfills what it promises. The room was small and facing a large street, so it was not quiet. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom had a good shower with good water pressure and plenty of towels/shampoo. The location is great for visiting Manhattan, not so great for visiting Brooklyn. The neighbourhood is not the prettiest, there are some homeless people on the streets who will ask you for money but it still felt safe.

  : For the price the rooms itself seemed good.
  : Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Dust on headboard of bed. No iron. Ice only on ground floor. Staff was moody and seemed bothered. No parking only street parking and was difficult to find. Location looked sketchy.

  : Fairly new, clean rooms, good size bathroom, good working hot shower. Close to subway, citibike stations, location was good for getting into the city quickly and for fast bike access to the waterfront (queensbridge park, Pepsi sign, Gantry Plaza Park) via dedicated bike lanes. Area was not as sketchy as I expected. Everything includingTV, fridge, ac and wifi worked, it was just adequate space for 2, fairly quiet and good value for a saturday night in NYC. Considering average rates are $250-300. It covered all our basic needs. We were in the room just to shower, nap and to sleep. So we didn't mind not having the 'frills' of a coffee maker, full cable, more space, fancy linens or decor. Manage your expectations, read the reviews and this could be a good economical stay for NYC.
  : Check in was slow, lobby is nondescript but at least clean amd minimal. Its a functional basic hotel so no decor to speak of. You arent paying for that, so dont expect it. Pillows were a bit too soft and along with the mattress have a plastic covering under covers, so makes for a rustling noisy sleep. Bring your own if u can. Having said that we were so exhausted we sleep straight through. The $60 cash deposit should be publicized when you book. Not when you turn up to check in.

  : The moment when you finally check out and never will stay in that hotel again. Near subway station.
  : Matratze was covered with plastic foil. No room cleaning within the 3 days I stayed there. No safe in the room. 60$ in cash needed at check in for deposit. Area is unsafe. Price way too high for that hotel.
