  : We used this hotel in Luc-sur-mer as a base from which to explore Normandy & the D-Day landing beaches. I would recommend this hotel for that as it's in a good location .... right on the beachfrontThe hotel looks to have been recently decorated. The bedroom was not massive but adequate with a comfy bed. It has a TV but only French channels. The bathroom was modern with a large shower & plenty of space.It was great weather and we had the window open all the time. It was peaceful to fall asleep to the the sound of the seaThe owners & staff were very friendly & helpful with an easy-going attitudeThere is a restaurant with a reasonable menu (cannot comment on the food as we did not eat lunch or dinner there). But we DID have a traditional French breakfast each morning with cereal & yoghurts and fresh bread & croissants along with meat & cheese & eggs (no hot items are on offer) served with freshly squeezed juice and coffee/tea/water. This was plenty for us each day before going sightseeingIt looks like an attached bar is undergoing some renovations so the hotel will be better when this is completed
  : Parking can be a problem but it was good weather for the beach in peak season so understandable It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room for a few drinks (& some medicines) & a kettle to make tea/coffee before breakfast
