  : Terrible service and attitude. The hotel didn't honor my "non-refundable" reservation made via Booking.com. It was 9:30pm and after a 4 hour drive I was told they got nothing for me and they did nothing wrong. The manager blamed Booking for overselling their rooms. I told him I made probably over 100 reservations via Booking and never had this kind of issue before. The manager simply said because I have never booked such a popular sold out hotel like theirs before. I was told to call Booking, ask for a refund, and that's it. I was stunned by the situation and decided to sit in the lobby to process my next step. The manager was upset that I questioned what he said and I had not left yet. He went into the office and lashed out at me, telling his staff and calling me bitch this bitch that, like I would not overhear him...I was able to reach Booking for help and they have a procedure to verify with the hotel first. Before they can offer an alternative solution, Booking has to wait at least 30 minutes for the hotel to respond to their phone call or email. Sadly nobody in the hotel tried to help to speed this up by answering Booking's verification. So I waited another 30+ minutes till Booking's next step, which was finding me another place to stay and covering the price difference. Finally I was able to check into another hotel by midnight, totally exhausted.Originally I booked with Red Roof for the location and lower price as I only need a quick one night stay. After this nightmare, I learned not to overlook bad reviews. Booking is more reliable than this hotel. This place is poorly managed and lacks business integrity. They don't concern the impact they make on the guests when they fail to deliver.
