  : Rooms were clean, good size.
  : We arrived and were told the HVAC syste was down. Got “free” breakfast and parking, but the whole building was hot and everyone was there around 4pm to check in for a 6pm concert to get to. We couldn’t just “cancel” and find a room downtown in order to get a full refund. Getting a 50% discount to an overly priced room would have been nice. And “free” breakfast for continental items? That’s bogus if the charge is $18 + for that type of food. Sad we spent $400 and had to leave by 7:30 am since it was so hot and stuffy in our room. And opening the windows 2 inches and no screens on the windows is a really bad piece of advice when checking in… no air flow. Lucky it wasn’t 100 degrees and humid or people would have been sick due to the heat. We all should have been offered the free parking, breakfast, box fan for $100 flat fee…. Definitely not impressed!

  : Staff were lovely on arrival, there were some issues with our room which they were transparent about. Good location.
  : Promised a number of perks on account of broken air conditioning, none of which were honored. Rude staff when inquiry was made. Manager was meant to follow-up, but never called. Booking.com has been trying to resolve issue and have partial refund issued as per assurances from hotel, have called several times with no follow-up or resolution thus far (6 weeks on). Booking.com has advised unable to reach hotel staff to confirm.

  : The room was spacious and slept my family pretty decently.
  : Once I checked in the receptionist informed me it would be a $300 deposit then once I tried to pay the card reader declined my card three times until she input my card info manually. Then she advised me it would be $30 a day for parking (including the day of checkout) so she gave me a parking ticket for the garage which was tiny and did not have the appropriate amount of spaces to accommodate the number of guests. The ticket machine did not work so she advised me to come back later to validate parking and get another ticket. So I did. She also advised breakfast would be ready at 6am but is $17 a person. Once in the room I closed the bathroom door and got locked out since you can not close the door all the way or it would not open again. I finally was able to get the door to open by shimming the handle several times. We asked for extra blankets for my kids to sleep on the pull out couch but never received them so we ended up buying some bedding at Walmart. Upon check out I tried to put ice in my travel cup but the ice machine also was not in working order. I then proceeded to the front desk where I stood for 10 minutes after both receptionists made eye contact but ignored me until a line formed. The guy at the desk acted like my being there was an inconvenience for him and I mentioned the ice machine and bathroom door to which he just ignored and asked if I needed a receipt. The stay was close to $600 and was nowhere near worth the price.
