  : *Weekend of July 19-July 21. I realize that this is the weekend of the state fair, however the hotel cost us $430.00 US/580.00 CAD for two nights*We arrived at the hotel at 4:30PM and waited 20 minutes at the front desk to check in and no one showed up. So, my partner called the front desk and politely said “Hey, we’re at the front, could someone please check us in” and the man on the other end hung up the phone. We waited approximately 10 more minutes for him to come help us. Once we got checked in, we got our belongings on a cart and headed for the elevator. There were 2 sanitizer dispensers on either sides of the elevators and both did not have sanitizer in them.I later mentioned this to the manager, and she said “there is a restroom down the hall” (like I was going to pause what I was doing and leave my luggage cart with all my belongings outside the bathroom to wash my hands).Once we finally got checked in and arrived to our room on the 4th floor I opened it, and the deadbolt was locked from inside. I left my partner upstairs with the luggage cart while I ran down to solve the problem at the lobby. The man was calling down his manager to fix the problem. Meanwhile, my partner called me from upstairs and told me that there was gentleman in the occupied room we were given slammed the door in her face (rightfully so). My partner brought the luggage cart back down with of all our stuff on it. The manager, was having a discussion with her employee saying that they moved people around and didn’t put it in the system and the room that we were given was “The one that they switched that greasy guy to” HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!We never received an apology what so ever. Not even once. There was no accommodation, upgrade or even discount for the inconvenience. No one took responsibility and the customer service truly was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.

  : Not much - it was convenient to the border and one of the only properties available that took cats. The room was fairly spacious.
  : Very shabby and run down, carpet was very damp and dirty, the furniture was worn snd damaged, the carpet was peeling away from the wall. Breakfast had limited options and wasn’t tasty.

  : Great Location. Nice interior. Quiet. Air conditioning on and room cooled upon arrival. Excellent bed.
  : One wall in our room had several paint chips which really didn’t affect anything. The exhaust fan in the bathroom came on every time the light was turned on. The fan had a very noisy bearing which was so disruptive we couldn’t use the light at night.
