  : Beautiful location short walking distance to restaurants and town center. Lovely/friendly staff! Very nice continental breakfast.
  : One hiccup - no hot water for shower but the owner apologized immediately and had already called plumber. She offered (without asking) to reduce price a bit for the trouble, though - so she handled as well as she could have!

  : Great location and nice view of the bay.
  : The hotel itself is "fine." Definitely dated and in need of some basic upkeep. The bathrooms are tiny, poorly lit, dingy, and not particularly clean. The bed, bedding, and pillows were the worst we had out of our two-week trip. The food was not great, and the timing of breakfast was strange. SO Loud. Hope you don't want to sleep in. Really overpriced for what you get. The real issue is the terrible service we received from Frances, the owner. We arrived a bit earlier than check-in time and politely asked if the room was ready but had no expectation of being able to get in right away. We were thankful that she allowed us to check-in. While we were bringing in our bags, our very heavy door slammed shut with the keys inside. When my husband asked for help, Frances was incredibly rude and kept yelling at him "This is not a hotel!!! it is a B&B" over and over, but let him in with a master key. When we checked out early the next morning in the chaos of a busy travel day, we forgot to return the key because no one asked or reminded us while we were settling up at the desk. Two days later, we received a message through booking.com from Frances asking us to put it in the post, which we immediately did as it was of course, an honest mistake. After posting my initial 4* review of the property, I immediately got a scathing and highly unprofessional message from Frances saying that we had caused major damage to the property that she is filing for (we did not) and that she hopes my husband and I "get what we deserve" and are "two-faced" among many other remarks. She said they had to break down the door (despite the master key, lol) to the room. So be warned if you want to leave an honest review of the place because she is hell-bent on making you sorry for it.
