  : Beautiful area which we hadn't really explored before. Bed was comfy.
  : Thought the lodge was a little tired. We stayed in 206 and there was a lot of grout missing on the en suite bathroom floor, peeling paint in bathroom and just general air of tiredness....apologies to staff as we didn't think it was worth mentioning at time, as we were only there for a night and there was no point getting maintenance team in. For the price, I'm afraid I expected better.The 75 dog fee was a little extortionate so we didn't take our dog in the end. I realise dogs leave hairs, but 75 worth of hair ........We didn't book breakfast at the time of booking but I did ask when we checked in if we could have breakfast, only to be told breakfast was fully booked. Although I realise this was entirely our fault for not having booked sooner, I was a little disappointed that they couldn't accommodate us, or even offer a solution, given the fact the hotel is fairly off the beaten track. Overall, the stay was adequate but not quite up to the standard I'd expect for the price. The staff were fine ...just the place was tired and expensive for what it was.
