  : The room was nice & clean, the breakfast hours were perfect. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy and the customer service at the front desk was great.
  : When we called downstairs to ask for more towels & pillows, the person sounded as though they were having a bad day because we called. The bathroom sink was clogged and the bathroom on the main level where the breakfast bar is located was filthy.

  : I expected more. There is such a thing as experience. It consists of many little things, starting with the ease of check-in, the comfort of the stay itself, the responsiveness of the staff, etc. Something is wrong with this hotel. It’s not that bad, but it didn’t suit us personally.I would especially like to note the feeling of fear and unsafety on the streets near the hotel, but this is probably typical for the entire city of Philadelphia.

  : The room handicapped room itself was excellent. We had booked for one night through Expedia for $186. The stay was because my wife was getting a procedure at the hospital the next day. Unfortunately the procedure did not happen and we had to stay over an extra night. I was able to rebook the room directly with Hampton Inn, for a rate of $250. Since my was had medical issues we could not more to another hotel, so I had no choice but to pay the $250. I travel frequently so I understand that hotel rates are volatile, which is why I generally prefer to book through a third party. But in this case I needed to make sure we staid in the same room.
  : The check in desk was always insanely busy and crowded. Between 4 PM and 8 PM you could barely walk through the lobby. I would recommend having one more person at the reception desk at those times.

  : I must give kudos to Jess at the front desk. When I got there I was overheated, stressed out and not in the best mood. I was basically losing it, but Jess took care of the situation and talked me down. She was excellent... give her a raise!
  : No pool. When it is 94 degrees outside, a pool would be nice. Just saying.

  : I extended the stay by a day. We stayed for 4days and our room was not even cleaned once even after requesting 7-8 times. Just kept on saying they will do it today, today but later in evening they said that the house keeping staff left. Same thing happened next day as well. I was frustrated and then later one of the helper boys made our bed but the housekeeping did not help neither did the reception.

  : The staff makes this hotel. The desk staff was very friendly. The valet guys were amazing! I give them super stars and 10 pluses! The location is only a mile from the freedom trail.
  : We reserved a room with a king bed. We were given a room with two queens. We were disappointed (but I did not complain or ask for a change)
