: The property was clean.
: We only stayed in the unit four hours because the heat wasn’t working and the owners would not give me a refund. After trying to troubleshoot the problem with the property manager over the phone for more than an hour, the property manager thought I was lying and asked me to send before and after pictures of the thermostat after asking us to wait in the cold unit for three hours. We were told the unit’s heat would not be fixed until the following day and offered another unit in the building. However the unit was not suitable to what we wanted. We advised that we would wait another hour for the maintenance person to come but would then be forced to seek other accommodations. We made other accommodations for our stay after not hearing anything for an hour. The property manager was apologetic and offered to have the unit ready for us the next day. I informed the property manager that we decline the next day stay because our stay was short, we did not want to keep moving in and out of units, and as we previously told them had already secured other accommodations for the remainder of our stay. The property manager called the next day at 4 pm saying the unit is now ready and that I can go back. I reiterated that I had already prepaid for other accommodations and would not be going back to the unit. I requested a refund at that time since I had only been in the unit four hours. I had not used any facilities or the kitchen. I repeatedly asked for a refund and was told that they would follow up. When I said that I was going to leave a negative review, the owner or property manager stopped responding to me. It’s been four months now and still no refund for the stay.
