  : A very nice place at a reasonable price. The villas are quite outdated but very spacious with good size living room, bedrooms and a large bathroom. Breakfast was good although very repetitive - but I'm not complaining as we had churros every morning :). People arround where nice. No working air conditioning (as we already knew from description, so no surprise) but not really needed at the begining of June. The pool was very good also. Also there is an promenade just between the villas and the lava rocks sea side very nice to walk and watch the waves. We had a good time at VIK Coral Beach. Thank you.

  : The reception staff was very nice and going out of their way to help. Very nice promenade to walk right outside the hotel. Ample parking space.
  : Some of the villas are renovated a bit, but some others are not. It seems to be a lottery what you will get. The sea front ones seem to be in better shape and offer nice views. We got a very tired, musty smelling one at the very back.There is no entertainment available apart from a lady who would come and put on music at the pool between 2 and 4 and then dissapear. The restaurant was closed between 11 and 7 so it was impossible to sit.down for a coffee or a snack. As the place is remote and there are no cafes nearby it seemed an odd choice of service.The sunset terrace is not operational (just empy space with no loungers, and dirty glass) but is advertised on the hotel description as fully fitted with nice pictures to show something that is not there. The outdoor beds contrary to pictures have no mattresses. There are 3 beds in the whole hotel, and they are fitted with artifical grass. Two of them allow for nice sunset gazing. The bungalow needs TLC, especially bathrooms were really smelly. The smell was coming from the drains and made the bathroom very unpleasant. The beds were extremely hard and we had to ask for toppers after 1st night. It was absolutely imposible to sleep without toppers and even with them it was not very comfy. This was a first time it happened to us in any hotel.The description states that the hotel offers a shuttle service to dorada beach-this is not the case. If someone is looking for a base to sleep and has a car at hand (which we luckilly had- it is really far from everywhere) then you are not too bad. However as someone who stayed in various hotels in Lanzarote in last 10 years and knows the island and hospitality sector in Lanzarote very well I would say that you can get a much better deal for your money.

  : check in and out was easy and fast. That is ALL of the positives.
  : Everything... The photos on booking.com are deceiving. It looks modern, clean and well maintained but nothing could be further from the truth.There was no air conditioning available. Our villa had a dirty, old fan in the living area to try to cool the entire building, which broke. When my wife asked for a replacement she was told there isn't any and that she should open a window. Then we got cockroaches after having the windows open for an hour. The night before our flight a cockroach walked across my wife's head, while she lay in bed on her phone. So neither of us slept for the entire night because of the fear of more. There was one more in the bathroom later that night.Very little appears to have been maintained in the last 10 years. Everything metal was rusty, the rooms were recently painted but that appears to be the only maintenance. Windows were rusty, the fridge had rust on the outside. Outside the villa, things were no better. The tall light fittings are rusted and in danger of falling over. There are metal coverings on the pathways which have also rusted over and are a trip hazard. I will NEVER again stay here, or recommend it to anyone, unless I really do not like that person.We stayed for 1 week, the bedlinen was changed the day before we left. "Cleaning" was done twice, which appeared to be changing the towels, taking the rubbish, and making the beds. The floors were not swept (there was crumbs still in the middle of the floor which was a delight to the cockroaches) and the villa didn't have basic cleaning equipment, except for a small bottle of washing up liquid. There was no brush, dust pan or anything else for us to keep the room clean. The pool water felt slimey, the sun loungers were filthy, broken and had never been cleaned.In the end, we used the complex as a place to sleep only. We prepaid for breakfast when we booked, but there was no way we were risking it, after seeing the lack of hygiene everywhere else.

  : The staff were exceptional. It was quiet and remote and exactly what we wanted as a family. The food was actually delicious and flavoursome. Peaceful. I mean genuinely it was lovely coastal walk and fantastic views.The site has vast potential and could incredible.
  : The site itself needs a high amount of maintenenceBaby pool needs retiling and the rooms need a mass makeover.There are facilities that are no longer available like the kids club which is an honest shame and entertainment was very light especially to say you are a long distance from town centre.There is no air con at all. The tv is tiny and in the bedroom. Parts of wall had blown and started falling off, paint flaking from the walls. Door handle fell off. Its just minor issues that didnt cause us problems but definitely arent ideal
