  : Kalimera was a last minute choice for us as we extended our time in Pollonia by 2 extra days. Our original accommodation was unable to host us for extra nights as they were booked up, so we picked Kalimera online based on price and ability to host 3 adults last minute. Poppy is the owner of both Kalimera and the more up market apartments down the road. She was delightful, very professional, welcoming and accommodatiing. We checked out of our first apartment and drove our belongings over to the Kalimera units at 11am. Our room was not ready so we left everything in reception. When we returned in the late afternoon, our luggage was in the room and even our food and wine in the fridge! We believe we scored the best room in the block and I would ask for the top floor rooms (2 of them) if possible. You get a lovely view over local agriculture and a distant view of the sea and rocks. Despite being on Pollonia's tiny doorstep, it was quiet and peaceful. However my favourite aspect was the balcony and sunset aspect. The room was also generous and coped with 3 adults. When 2 left for travel on other islands, they removed the single bed and opened up the full room for my last night. Unlike many of our travels in Greece, the The bed was comfy and the overall experience great value for money. Efharisto Kalimera!
  : Like many places in Greece, the bathrooms and showers are sub standard. This was no different really. It had constant hot water and good pressure. However it also had the usual square trough with the usual useless shower curtain that does not stop water filling up the small bathroom floor. We had stayed recenlty at Captain Stavros, and although the room and balcony were not as big as Kalimera, nor the beds as comfy, they had renovated their bathrooms to a superb standard. If I was a Greek property owner, I would be spending any spare cash on the bathroom, even a simple modern (deliberate) wet room!

  : The breakfast was delivered to the room on time every morning and was delicious. The location was excellent walking distance to the bus stop, and right underneath was the car rental store, travel agency to book ferry tickets, and to book your ATV.
  : The room was smaller than expected and the bathroom was also extremely small. You couldnt shower without almost flooding the floor.

  : Great location in Pollonia on this beautiful island of Milos. Near the end of the bay where all the restaurants are. Good size rooms with a pretty small bathroom. Adjacent to free parking (you need a car on Milos) - which doubles as the view from your room.
  : A bit of a convoluted check in - the place seems to be a bit more like an AirBnb with a relationship with the adjacent hotel. (but you only check in once hey). Breakfast was challenging. You order the night before and it is delivered to your room (from the adjacent hotel). If you are lucky. I got it on one of the 2 nights I ordered. 3rd night I didnt bother. Besides - sitting by the water at one of the restaurants is better.

  : Lovely staff and a great breakfast. Close to the beach and town. Nice and clean with comfortable bed.
  : The shower was pretty dismal, very clean but hardly enough pressure to wash off shampoo!

  : Good location. My room was spacious, it was basic but clean. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night. I didnt use the kitchen but it looked nicely stocked.
  : First, there are no signs for the hotel, even on the building, and no where apparently to check in or instructions given to do so. I asked a cleaning lady if this was Kalimera studios and she was confused but pointed to the next building. A man from the next properly saw me wandering around and helped me (apparently they are sister hotels?) but I never actually saw anyone from the hotel.Secondly, the bathroom was tiny. I dont mind that so much but I do mindThe bed! The worst one I think Ive ever slept on, except I didnt sleep because it was SO uncomfortable. It was a piece of plywood with a thin, worn out, low quail its mattress. They put a thin mattress topper on it for a little bit of comfort, but it just felt like I was sleeping on a wooden board.I would not recommend.

  : The property was very clean. The bed was super comfortable.
  : The bathroom configuration is awful. The shower is extremely uncomfortable and the whole bathroom gets wet. The Wi-Fi didnt work.
