  : Centrally located, clean and quiet.
  : Difficult to access the apartment. They only send info a day in advance and I was traveling for 24 hrs before with no cell service, which made it inconvenient.

  : Good amount of space. Good space in the hallway to take off jackets & boots. Had everything that was required in the kitchen.
  : The heating doesn't work correctly if at all in the living room or bedroom. We contacted the property, who in fairness were very quick to reply. However it took until the 3rd night until we were delivered some electric heaters. The bathroom has a terrible smell! Having re read other reviews about this problem. The property have said it was due to sulphur in the water, however I have visited many hotels/apartments in Iceland and this isn't the case. It actually smells like a mens urinal. The shower base also fills up with water and doesn't drain properly. I'm sure this doesn't help also with the smell of the bathroom. Very minor but the TV is really old/slow and it takes ages to put anything on it, youtube or Netflix.

  : This apartment we have been there before. It was good. But this time disappointed us. The apartment is getting older. The bathroom sewer is blocked. The living room blinds and lights should be fixed. Never get mail box key. We have been to Iceland for three times. We always pick up this apartment to stay. We had our good recall here before. But not anymore now.

  : The location was very good.
  : I love Iceland and have travelled to this beautiful country many times and stayed in both hotel and self catering accommodation alike, but this the most disappointing accommodation I've had to date. The apartment itself is fine, aside from mystery light switches and problematic heating, but the management company need to consider how they communicate with guests. When booking this stay, I had contacted the host asking if there was a secure place to leave our luggage as we would be arriving before the check in time and was informed there was. One the day of arrival, I contacted the host as directed to say we had arrived, only to be inform at that point the apartment had changed hands/management company and that there was no longer a safe place to leave our luggage. The quite rude and dismissive host, told us to look up the luggage storage facilities in the city, of which none were in easy distance from where we were staying. Fortunately, a nearby hotel agreed to help us for the few hours between arriving and being able to get into the apartment. Confusingly, on the check out email it DID offer a safe place to store luggage for those not flying immediately. After being in the apartment for a day or so, it became obvious the underfloor heating was not functioning properly. We contacted the host for assistance as we were not familiar with how the heating system worked and didn't want to cause any problems, being the middle of winter a cold apartment is not ideal. The host basically said to just monitor it and to get back to them in a few days; they may as well have just said they didn't care. The other problem with this apartment is that there during our stay, we had to navigate a number of people who slept and took drugs in the foyer, which I am aware is not the responsibility of the host, however it might be something they would like to consider when marketing this property to female travellers or those with young children.

  : Apartment well equipped and clean, washing machine and dryer, comfortable and big enough for family of 2 adults and 2children, in city centre, free parking, easy self check-in instructions
  : We missed blackout blinds on windows in living room where 2 people slept, there was so much light in the night

  : Apartment was conveniently located in the city and was large enough for 2 people to be comfortable. The apartment was stocked with the basics.
  : The worst part was the free parking lot is small and there was rarely a spot available. We ended up paying for parking the majority of time. I feel very mislead regarding this. While the apartment was adequately stocked on dinning utensils, it was lacking majorly on cooking utensils.
