Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : The apartment was a very good and comfortable size for us (a young family) and comes with a great view of the old harbour. The kitchen came with the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. The area has some good restaurants and is about 20-25min walk to downtown Reykjavik. Private parking in the basement is available, but potentially a bit of a squeeze, especially if you have a big vehicle.
  : If you're not used to parking in tight spots and/or come with a larger rental vehicle it could be a bit tricky. Our spot was located underneath the stairwell (the most awkward spot) so spatially constrained as the stairs ate into the space at the front. (other spots are available depending on room number so maybe we pulled the short straw). There was a bit of noise, the road is quite busy and some of the neighbors were playing loud music in the evenings (not ideal when sending young kids to bed), but maybe this was exaggerated as we had arrived from a couple of days of peace and quiet in rural Iceland. Some complimentary cooking oil would have been appreciated as it seems an unnecessary cost for just a few days stay.

  : The apartment was very spacious, clean and has a beautiful view over the harbour. It was nice and warm inside, kitchen fully equipped and everything was very close to the apartment.
  : It was difficult to get in the apartment, key box could not be opened with the code provided but the owner was very helpful and resolved the problem quickly.
