  : Location in quiet, leafy neighborhood just steps from small shops and tube. Beautiful! Near Kew Gardens and cricket match on Kew Green. Path along Thames River. So much to love. Also cannot forget Henry, breakfast server who laid a reserved table for 6 when friends came for Sunday Roast! And the chef! The food was fabulous! And the pub is a charming old fashioned kind of English pub. Very lively with locals afternoon -evenings. Obviously well loved. Also few blocks to National Archive with free exhibits.
  : My American expectations. Day One thought it wasn’t perfect enough, but remembered everything in Europe is old. LOL! Then I fell in love with place.

  : The staff were absolutely great. I knew that I would arrive at Heathrow a bit late, and I contacted them to check on late check-in arrangements. Not only did they provide me with information regarding the after-hours keybox, but they also phoned me when I landed at Heathrow to let me know that they would hang around for me to arrive. Really nice, lovely welcome, and very reassuring when you're not sure how long your journey will takeThe location is brilliant - just next to Kew Gardens station, and a short walk from the Royal Botanical Gardens. You can reach Central London or Richmond very quickly. Also only around 30 minutes by taxi from Heathrow - and we took the tube to Heathrow on the way back, that also worked well.The cooked breakfast is great, I enjoyed that every day
  : A lot of reviews mention the lack of a lift / elevator - and it's true, it's not all that easy to navigate the steep staircase with suitcases etc in your handIt would also be great if the lighting on the staircase would be better at nighttimeThe Wifi is frustrating - I needed to re-login every time my iPhone locked itself. Really irritating. Not sure if that was user error on my part, or a fundamental issue with the Wifi network in the hotelThe hotel is under the Heathrow flight path, so you need to be prepared for some aeroplane noiseThere is ONLY a cooked option at breakfast. I think it would be nice to have at least some cereals, fruit etc. I like a cooked breakfast, but not everyone doesThere is only filter coffee at breakfast - no option for cappuccinos or whateverThe guy who serves breakfast isn't the most friendly - the rest of the staff are lovely, but he is a bit lacking in the loveliness stakes
