  : location very good, but would have been 10 out of ten if the subway/metro had not been shut down for my entire stay in Rome !! Breakfast very good. Front desk staff excellent. Bathroom and shower brand new designer renovation, excellent.
  : Operating subway system which hotel has no control over, but could have notified me by email before my arrival, so that I had the option to change my dates to three days later when the subway system was scheduled to be put back into regular service.

  : The location was great. The shower was very powerful. Bed was comfortable and large. The lady on reception in the mornings was very charming and friendly.
  : Very mixed feelings about this hotel. On the one hand the price felt very high for what it was however Rome is very expensive for anything decent.Our room felt very lacking in decor and charm however we walked past rooms that had the door wedged open after cleaning which looked way better than ours. The supply of soaps and shower gels wasnt great so you should make sure you have your own. There also appeared to be tea towels instead of hand towels which was a bit odd. The breakfast wasnt good. It was the standard continental fare but it wasnt very good quality. We were in a room at the back and got a fair amount of noise from the theatre rehearsing next door.No TV, no fridge and a lack of artworks on the wall made it feel a bit barren. Kind of felt like a left luggage room!

  : Location is the only good side of this hotel, but for this money, you can find something better.
  : Bathroom wasnt the one that they share on their photos. Staff believes they have so many room options so they cant share all of them when booking. I believe its not fair showing something different on the booking app and ultimatelty give something very dirty and neglected. For this money it should be much better. Curtains in the room and bathroom were disgusting. They alsl left us bathroom essentialls after previous guests - apologized for it, but still.. im very curious who gets the better rooms and bathroms. You will find much better stay around the corner for the money you will leave in this hotel.

  : Dear Booking team, On 31 of August we had a reservation made from Booking.com to Hotel King-Rome. On the day that we arrived the Hotel King didnt let us the rooms because they want to pay in hotel.They do not want to take money from my credit card through Booking. They cancel the booking recervation with number - 3177716891. So we did a payment in a hotel with another credit card what we had with us so we can get the rooms under the name of Victoria Tsileva. The receptionist promised that they will not charge my credit card through Booking becouse we pay on place in the hotel but when we check out they charged us second time. We contact with them and they promis to return us money on the same day. Since then we trying to contact with them by phone and emails but no replay and no money return. We are very disappointed from the Hotel King.We always book hotels true Booking.com and believe you can help us with this disappointed hotel.   : Its so close to the centre and also the metro station. You can go to Trevi by walking. There are lots of restaurants for a good breakfast and dinner. Our room is big enough for three people. And the receptionists are so helpful.
  : There was no minibar or kettle. After the first day, they just made our bed, but didnt clean the room until we checked out. We booked three bed -two double and one single- but the single bed was a sofa.

  : The room was larger than expected. Staff were nice.
  : Our air conditioning kept cutting out, I also found used toiletries in our bathroom. We were up and down stairs down really long hallways.

  : Hotel is in a great location and the 24 hour reception and elevator are convenient for check in/out. Staff was very friendly and set up a taxi for us. Rooms are basic but clean and have large bathroom and shower.
  : A small refrigerator in room would be great. Can hear others in the hall and in their rooms.
