  : 24/7 reception at safjrur Hotel, check-in/check-out very easy, very friendly and helpful staff, well-equipped kitchen, stable WiFi, 2 bathrooms, 2 out of 3 nights I had the room for myself as they didn't place guests together as long as there were free beds. As the other guests were hikers, too, there were no issues with noise, etc. As with other isolated places with great nature, you'll meet many interesting people. safjrur is rather a sleepy town, but nicely located and perfect to come to rest and to experience authentic Iceland. The surroundings are very exciting and apt for loads of outdoor activities. Especially Hornstrandir is very wild and untamed. Greenland feels close, too (2 days on a sailing boat).
  : everything as expected; It would have been good to have a clothes horse or sth similar to dry the wet and dirty clothes. Maybe there is, and I couldn't find it?
