  : Well equipped kitchen . Bed very comfy. Barn features super, cosy sitting room . Lovely and warm.
  : Internet unstable. Lighting lacks lampshades. Shower made a terrible noise. Poor loo flush. Shaving light not working. Something was moving in the roof and kept us awake at night. Sadly not a quiet spot due to being close to the main road. Rear door needs attention.

  : 1. The Hayloft had not been cleaned at all when we arrived at 17:00. All the old bed linen and towels were on the floor in Bedroom. So much for their promised deep Covid clean prior to your arrival !! 2. The Shower is so weak it is not usable. 3. The wifi is only usable near the back door or Outdoors....signal too weak otherwise. No Wifi at all upstairs. They need to take heed of the complaints people make ( eg WIFI and Shower ) and get them fixed.

  : We liked the location and the place has potentialbut charges premium rates that it fails to deliver on.
  : On first impressions your think this is great, but on closer inspection the place hadnt been cleaned brilliantly and was grubby. There was hair in the bath plug drain that stopped the bath draining properly and hence how we noticed and then had to clean it out ourselves. The kitchen wasnt cleaned brilliantly, and the bred bin still had crumbs in it for the last occupants. There were also cobwebs throughout the ceiling upstairs which were easy to see but just left. The bath and shower. The shower was not really a shower and was just so bad it wasnt worth trying to use. The hot tap in the bathroom had been replaced and not only not matching (not a crime) was not secured to the bath properly and spun around when it was turned off. The vanity light above the sink didnt work which was a pain whilst shaving. This property has no right to be advertised with Free wi-fi and internet facilities, because just putting in a domestic BT wi-fi router at the other end of the property in the utility room, just isnt good enough to service 4 apartments and more to the point just didnt really reach up to us at all. My wife had to do the odd bit of work and so the free Wi-Fi was a draw, but the reality was the signal was beyond weak and really not useable. This should not be listed as a facility and in all honesty in this day and age there are solutions to this you just have to pay the money. Our biggest gripe though by far was the bed! Whilst it was a small double (and I am 64) I accept that it was going to be a tight squeeze for two, but the mattress was just awful and well past its sell by date and quite the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. The slats underneath the bed were not great and needed nightly adjustment to stop me falling through. The bed was so bad we actually decided we couldnt stand another night vacated the property a day early. Both of us are still suffering from bad backs that I would entirely contribute to that bed.
