  : Excellent location for walking. Host very helpful sorting out the wifi niggle. Bed very comfortable.

  : The property was in a good location.
  : The property is very small, dark inside, and not very well finished off. It looks like a lot of the work has been done by an amateur- things dont quite fit or match up. The wifi wasnt that good and had a tendency to cut out occasionally. The electric shower was a bit hit and miss and the plug was blocked which meant the shower tray filled up with water whilst showering. We cleared a load of hair from the drain which improved it a bit, but it shouldnt be like this really. There was no-where really to sit outside. The two chairs just outside the door which are shown in the photographs of the cottage didnt exist. in their place were two very old and dirty looking chairs that you wouldnt sit on in your working clothes. There was a garden with a bench, but it wasnt private, didnt get the sun and wasnt a nice place to sleep. It wasnt clear from the time of booking that this is just one of a group of cottages and other assorted accommodation in a farm yard. We assumed the cottage would be better than it was due to the 4 stars and 9/10 scores on reviews. In reality it was adequate, but not to our usual standard and was a bit disappointing.

  : Cosy retreat for 2 people everything to live comfortably for a short stay you only need food all utensils are included solid fuel logs for fire is a good idea to bring with you perfect location for walkers or off road cycling on disused railway line to Scarborough or whitby or coastal walks it is very muddy in autumn or winter good footwear or wellies are a must if walking coastal paths but worth the effort we were reliving holiday in a 2 man tent 25 years earlier so it seemed like a luxury stay upto when we were younger
